In September of 2007, after 2 weeks of design and preparation I submitted two designs to a competition entitled "Love Your Earth".  The design had to satisfy the following criteria:-

*To view these two designs, click on the "Gallery" link on the left and click into the empty black space!*

1. original/innovative design
avoid the obvious, fashionable fads and styles,
illustrate what is most important to you.
2. attractive design
good sense of color, typography, illustration, photography etc.
3. communication
your design should be related to the theme 'love your earth'.
deliver an instant message with your image.
4. flexibility
it should be easy to adapt your design for different types of mediums,
flags, stamps, posters etc.

Below is an extract of my design description, used as both a selling point to my design as well as an explanation alley.

"The development of these designs has been solely based around the fact that the earth is becoming a living factory. The more and more people ignore the problem, the bigger the factory will come. "Gaseous Substitute" graphically explains how we should be pumping love into the atmosphere as opposed to the chemicals that go onto affect our ozone layer. "Workman's Choice" brings up a stark contrast into how we live our lives among the lower species, and puts across the message that if no difference is made, one day we might not be able to experience such natural beauty in our world. Both these designs highlight the need for change and what exactly needs changing, whilst graphically showing us what could be lost."
